BLUE KNIGHTS GEORGIA IX CHAPTER
The Blue Knights of Northwest Georgia known as Georgia IX Chapter are a great group of " Good Guy and Gals" to be with. The Club was established and chartered in September 2000 with 23 members. We meet each month on the second Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at different locations around Northwest Georgia. We are always seeking out new members and good people to be a part of our Law Enforcement Motorcycle Group. Living in Northwest Georgia we are spoiled with the rides that we have due to the landscape of our region. We encourage you that if you are in our area, contact us and join in with a ride. PURPOSES AND GOALS:
According to the By-Laws, our purposes and goals are to: 1. Provide for the mutual assistance, enjoyment, entertainment, education, physical, mental and social benefit of its members and the general public.
2. To promote and advance the sport of motorcycling and the safety of motorcycling.
3. To serve the interests of motorcycle owners and users.
4. To promote by example and any other acceptable means, safe use, operation and enjoyment of motorcycles.
5. To develop a fraternal spirit between law enforcement personnel and the general public. Many Blue Knights work long and hard to raise money for various charities. Especially near to our hearts is helping children. Make-a-Wish Foundation, Toys for Tots, D.A.R.E., and Concerns of Police Survivors are some examples of our favorites. The Georgia IX Chapter of the Blue Knights has held and or assisted the Community with eight (8) rides, collecting over ,000.00 in goods and services. We have work over 600 man hours for our community
